Somerset County Council’s Sensory, Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT) services have created a suite of eight new leaflets in response to requests for information from parents, carers and special educational needs coordinators (SENCos).
SPOT is made up of four specialist teams:
– Hearing Support Team
– Vision Support Team
– Physical Impairment and Medical Support Team (PIMS)
– Occupational Therapy.
The SPOT service aims to support a child and young person’s independence in their educational setting and at home.
