Welcome to our NHS App information event on 30th April 2024 at Bruton Surgery from 2pm to 4pm.
On this date, Lyndsey and Pia, two of the Bruton Surgery Health Coaches will be available to help you to set up your NHS App.
Once registered with the app, you will be able to:
- View prescription information, order repeat prescriptions, and view, set, or change the pharmacy you want to collect prescriptions from (your nominated pharmacy).
- Receive messages from healthcare professionals
- View your GP health record
- Access NHS 111 online
- Complete online consultation forms to contact your GP
- Book and manage COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
- Manage organ donation decisions
- Get health advice using the health A-Z on the NHS website
- Find NHS services nearby
- Register for health research
- Link accounts to help family members and carers access health services on behalf of other people
- Choose and manage how their data is used and shared
If you would like to be registered with the app, please bring along your photo id.
In our session, you will be asked to:
- Take a photo of your ID.
- Record your face using your device.
- Enter your NHS number if you know it.
The image you send to the app needs to be of your original photo ID.
This can be of your:
- Passport (except Syrian passport)
- UK driving licence (full or provisional)
- European driving licence (full)
- European national identity card (except paper Italian ID card or Greek ID card)
- UK residence card or biometric residence permit (BRP)
