It is nearing flu season and it is important that patients are aware of some changes to the timing of flu vaccinations this year.
For children and pregnant ladies, the flu vaccinations can be given in September when supplies are received.
For patients who are 65 and over, or 18-64 years with an at-risk condition, the flu vaccination season will start in October along with COVID vaccinations. This is a national decision by NHS England – for more details please see:
